Carlos Rojas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years clinical experience. He is fully Bilingual/Bicultural in Spanish. His professional career includes clinical practice, community based agency settings, hospitals, schools, program management and clinical supervision of staff and graduate students. He has experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in mental health, psychopathology and substance abuse. In addition Carlos has had a career in soccer which has included Division 1 college, professional and coaching.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at Fordham University School of Social Service. In addition he holds Masters degrees in Social Work from NYU’s School of Social Work and in Leadership and administration from Fordham University. He is trained in cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and psychoanalytic therapies. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Schema Therapy as a supervisor/trainer and his training took place under the direct supervision of Ms. Wendy Behary.
He is in private practice in Union, New Jersey with consultation services in Miami, Florida. He specializes in working with individuals, couples and facilitating training and supervision. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, relationships, issues of adjustment/acculturation, and athletic performance. He facilitates workshops, courses and supervision in Schema Therapy.
