PART 2: SCHEMA MODE THERAPY FOR BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER (BPD)
  • Schema mode model development: schema mode concept
  • Presentation of modes and questionnaires
  • Schema modes in BPD  patients: presenting the mode model
  • Technical demonstration of mode work
  • Step-by-step treatment of BPD patients: bonding and emotional regulation, limit setting, and dealing with crisis
  • Building the therapeutic relationship: therapist’s style, assessment scale
  • Therapeutic relationship: assessing and managing it, and working with modes
  • Emotional regulation: safe places, mindfulness, mode monitoring, mode diary

The Schema Therapy Training Center of New York (STTC) is offering the complete 40-hour workshop training portion needed to meet the criteria for Certification as a Standard or Advanced Schema Therapist for Individuals by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). The 13-session course covers the 4 Modules of Schema Therapy for Individuals.

After you complete the course, you'll be well on your way to meeting ISST certification requirements as a Schema Therapist for Individuals. STTC will assist you in your journey towards completion.

STTC's Training Program offers:

  • Small-size workshops: you will be training in a small break-out rooms, connecting with peers from around the world
  • Free listing on our website as a resource to help promote yourself and your practice or area of focus, when available
  • Complimentary access to our resources that will help you connect with fellow schema therapy trainees to support each other during your development​
